BurrStride padded out of the warriors' den, stretching just inside the den mouth. Her long legs gently moved over the soft earth as she padded to the middle of camp, finding a small patch of sunlight to bask in. Settling her dark body to the warm ground, the she-cat rolled on her side and began the tedious routine of grooming her short fur.
Occasionally, she would lift her gaze to glance around the clearing, watching each cat as they passed by. Or she would set her yellowed eyes on some natural beauty within the camp confines. She stopped grooming her already gleaming pelt to admire a small wild flower that had begun to grow on the outskirts of the camp clearing. Its five, delicate, and purple petals held a magnificent beauty to BurrStride and she couldn't help but stare.

The heavy-set tom glanced around camp with lazy yellow eyes. Standing, his front legs stretched forward. as he relaxed, he allowed his hind legs to slide back. Once Stonefoot had fully reached the ground, his legs swerved to the side in a more preferable post. He side glanced, and spotted a pebble. In sheer boredom, he flung the small rock with a large paw. He narrowed his eyes to ensure the leaf he was aiming for was brought to the ground. Indeed it had, and the tom let out a pale toothed smile. "No too bad, no too bad." Stonefoot decided. Sitting up once more, he cracked his neck.

The cream colored tom stepped out from the confines of his den, pale eyes scanning the clearing. A noble era seemed to float around him as he examined his clan, making sure everything was fine and as it should be. The winds of sun-high blew about and the male started to wonder if a hunting patrol had been sent out yet, or if one even needed to be.
Mothstar padded over to the fresh-kill pile, looking over its contents with a calm expression. It wasn't empty, not was it bountifully piled, but all the prey among the pile had been long since caught and would no doubt be stale. A hunting party would be good, even if it wasn't entirely necessary.

The chocolate colored she-cat turned her gaze from the small flower and found her leader looking over the fresh-kill pile. A light of curiosity shown in her eyes as she gracefully picked herself from the warm soil and padded over to the creamed tom.
Standing just behind him, she sat on her haunches and mewed, "Good morning, MothStar. Is something the matter?"
The sound of something hitting the ground caught in her large ears, and she turned to see the deputy, StoneFoot. She waved her tail in greetings to the older tom, then looked back at her leader, and former mentor, as she waited for MothStar to answer.

A few more moments of looking at the fresh-kill pile passed before the sound of familiar paw-steps entered the male's ears. The muffled steps were soon joined by the welcomed mew of none other than BurrStride. The tom-cat turned to look into her dark face, a warm and very content smile spreading across MothStar's face. It was at that moment, though, that something came skidding atop the ground, soon landing on a leaf.
The peach colored tom-cat looked to the side, seeing Earthclan's deputy and his friend, Stonefoot. Although the leader brought his attention back to Burrstride with an amused expression, "No, nothing is the matter, though, I do happen to wonder; would you be willing to go out on a hunt? You are quite fond of them and it seems we could do with some fresh-" He paused with a pointed smile," Well, fresh-kill." A purr began to rumble in the tom-cat's throat, his face turning back to Stonefoot.

Stonefoot tilted his head over to the movement in his peripheral vision. Seeing Burrstride wave her tail as a greeting, and the seemingly amused Mothstar, the cinereal tom grinned broadly, and dipped his head. Standing, the large tom padded over to his associates. A slight simper curled along his lips.
"Is there anything I can help with?" A set of rather broad brows raised in expectation. He remolded his shoulders to a more comfortable position.

"Oh, I would love to", BurrStride mewed with delight. One thing she loved most in the world was hunting. Running freely across the territory, chasing after prey, it was absolutely wonderful! Yellowed eyes a light with fire, the dark she-cat grinned at her former mentor, before turning her excited gaze to the deputy.
"Good morning, StoneFoot. MothStar just asked if I would go hunting, would you like to come with me", she asked politely. She was slightly unnerved when hunting alone, but with the large boned tom near her, she would be perfectly fine. She sat with her long, thin tail curled neatly at her side, eyes shining, as she waited for the tom to answer.

The tom-cat's eyes light up with a happiness as the deputy padded over, the sound of the feline's foot-steps quite familiar to him. The cream tabby twitched his ears in greeting to the smoke-gray male then looked back at Burrstride, "Oh good, I'm glad to hear it!" Mothstar declared with a swish of his tail. The leader then turned back at Smokefoot, awaiting the deputies reply. It made him glow within at the thought of his friend hunting along side his former apprentice.

Snowpetal walked out of the warriors den her blue eyes never giving away what she was thinking and she looked around. She paused licking her paw and drew her paw over her face straightening her whiskers. Then she frowned when she spotted the group of cats near the fresh kill pile and walked over to them her tail swishing from side to side. "Hello," she meowed sitting down curling her tail over her paws curious to what was going on.

Stonefoot glanced between the two cats. The larger fellow bobbed up and down slightly, rather eager to get out. Straightening his back in an attempt to cease his passably kit-like excitement, he gave an antsy nod, and moowed, "Sure!"
A short response, he knew, but it got across the message. With little, or perhaps nothing else the say, Stonefoot got to his large paws. With little wait, the tom tilted a long muzzle to Snowpetal. With yet another broad simper, he dipped his head in greeting.
"G'day to you." Stopping to think over the words he spoke, he furrowed his brow. "Or would it be an afternoon or a morning?" He pondered aloud. Shrugging his widespread shoulders, he continued, "We were just talking about the matter of hunting-." He stated, and tilted his head over to the other two, seeking insurance that it would be just fine for her to come. Stonefoot raised his generous brows, once again in an expecting expression.

BurrStride felt a tingle of excitement run through her as she prepared to go out with StoneFoot. She glanced between her leader, deputy, and now SnowPetal, who had just walked over. The dark furred she-cat sat silently as the gray StoneFoot talked to SnowPetal, waiting for him to either invite the other or go. But, when he turned to face MothStar and BurrStride, the young warrior came to her paws with a jump.
"Yes, MothStar had asked if I would go and I asked StoneFoot if he would come along. Would you like to come also? It wouldn't hurt to do with more kill, I guess", she mewed to the white she-cat, soft eyes bright as she looked to both her leader and deputy, her tail wagging like a happy dog.

Snowlily turned her head towards Burrstride and then she glanced at Stonefoot before answering. "Of course I'll hunt, that is if it's okay with Mothstar," she meowed her blue eyes thoughtful. She didn't really know if the leader wanted every cat to be out of camp or if she was okay with her going on the hunting patrol. It seemed that most of her clan mates were already out of camp. She licked her paw waiting for the leader to say something or one of the cats on the patrol.
Ooc: Whisp I was kind of waiting for you to reply first

Oh! Sorry, I was unaware of that. I really do apologize for that.
The leader smiled the whole while the others conversed, passing Snowpetal a greeting as she neared. Three would make a good number for a hunting patrol. There would be enough cats to guard each others' backs if danger came, yet not so many as to alert their prey.
Mothstar let his tail pass over the ground once more, then suddenly realizing he had been directed a question, two actually. "Oh! Of course, of course!" He mewed robustly to the white she-cat before turning to face Stonefoot who had been giving the creamed tom an inquiring look, "Of course she can. You three can all go together. That would be great!" The male added.
