Name: Mynastep
Nicknames: In character, she hasn't one.
Age: Around 26 moons. Two years.
Gender:
Clan: FireClan
Rank: Warrior
Blood status: EarthClan bred with FireClan.
Mentor: Mountainleaf was dark brown LaPerm she-cat, with soft, gray-green eyes.

Fur color: Mynastep is a rich red-ish(ISH)-brown, with a black mask coming down to the rim of her shoulders. Her tail is black toward mid-way.
Eye color: She has soft, yellow eyes. They are rather pale in the surrounding pupil, and of course, and brightening the farther they go. ((See "Father".))
Distinguishing features: Mynastep's fur is rather messy. She pays little attention to this, perhaps to detract cats. Her feet are rather large, but other than that, she is pretty normal looking. If she were to mind her fur, she would be rather easy-to-the-eye.

Likes: Mynastep is rather confused about somethings. She wants attention, but when it comes her way, she wishes to crawl in a corner. It would be her lack of ability to handle speech. This cat prefers she-cats over toms, for she finds that they are less daunting. Though she is more comfortable alone, Mynastep longs for her friends. She enjoys autumn for it's colours. This lady figure enjoys the little things, like a leaf falling, or a bug in the air. The reason behind this, is that it gives her something to zone out on, rather than looking a cat in the eyes. Mynastep finds it much easier to listen to a cat talk, rather than having to take part. ((More to add later on))
Dislikes: She hates talking. Mynastep hates looking a cat in the eyes. If she were to be around her friends, she would not mind playing. Though, when she is alone, she feels foolish. It annoys her when strange cats talk just for the sake of it, for she finds it hard enough to talk with reason. Being touched is also a pet-peeve. So, it is not a surprise that she hates big crowds. Though she doesn't strictly hate toms, she fears them. She finds them to be large, and loud. ((More to add later on))
Strengths: This cat knows when to keep her mouth shut. She can be quite strong and overpowering, though she is small. Mynastep is polite in some senses, saying "thank you", though it might be too quiet to be heard.
Weaknesses: Mynastep doesn't know when to talk. Her shyness is indeed a burden to her in many ways. For this reason she finds it hard to ask for help. She is light weight, thus can be thrown aside with relative ease. Her big paws can make for a clumsy hunt.
Relationship status: Single, and quite satisfied so.
Sexuality: Straight.
Overall personality: Mynastep is a clumsy she-cat. In words, and in actions. She often regrets everything she does when around other cats, finding at least a few things wrong in what has been said. She is a pessimist. This cat is shy, and serious. Her expressions are very subtle, and have to be deliberately searched for. There once was a calm, fun cat, but after leaving her friends and everyone she knew, it was a trait easily lost. Though Mynastep will never be the cat she once was right after she makes a friend, though a cat could obtain such after braking through every inch of ice she has built up.

Mother: Sagefur was a light, almost gray-ish, tan tortoiseshell she-cat, with a rather lithe build.
Father: Shadefoot was a sleek black tom who a normal sized cat for his Clan.
Siblings: Mynastep is an only kit. Her parents separated before she was born.
Others of Importance: She had a a smaller group of friends at the time she lived in EarthClan. Mynastep was pleasant to all, on the other hand, and others might of considered her their friend.
There was Wavepaw, who was a lithe gray she-cat, with silver tipped locks of long wavy fur. Possibly, this cat was her closest friend.
Sandpaw was came from a kittypet linage, thus her light tan Siamese pelt. She too was a very close friend.
Gracepaw was a sleek black she-cat. Well... Let us say all her friends were very close.
And Fuzzypaw. His LaPerm pelt was blond/tan, and he had amber eyes.
Overall History: The warriors knew what they were doing was wrong. Their friends that knew made that very clear. But, they were young, and didn't think at all about how it would effect their kit. All they knew was that it felt right to see each other most nights, and at the gatherings. Though it really shouldn't have been, the swollen belly came as a surprise. By then, the two had become very far apart. When the tom found out he would be a father, he decided it would be just as much FireClan as EarthClan. He would leave the mother to care for it until able to travel, then let her know that she would be living in FireClan the rest of her life.
The tortie cat opened her eyes wide. She opened a mouth in a gasp, which came out more as a squeak. An orange she-cat lifted her head, and looked over to the other.
"Oh my!" With one swift movement, she was on her petite paws, and running out the den.
"I'll go get help! It'll be alright."
The few minutes that was taken to retrieve the cat, whose pelt smelt strongly of leaves, seemed like hours to black-and-tan feline.
"Thank you for getting me, Rosenose. How are you doing? Hmm... Let me see how many." The cat approached the other, and put an ear to her swollen belly. She looked up, panting widely, and mewed forcefully, "How many? I can't take too many, surely?"
"Sagefur, there is only a few. Calm down and push."
((I know plenty of birthing cats. I'd rather not go into detail about, on the other hand.))
The mother had purred in attempt to cease the pain, but now her throat rumbled fondly as she looked at the kitten. The and in turn, the now-dry kit purred. Sagefur stared at the her markings, and raised her brow.
"She looks like a myna bird! Wouldn't you say, Rosenose?"
"Yes. But I wouldn't name my kit that! Mynas are copying birds, though they are not known for their brains."
"Nonsense! Her name is Mynakit. What will your kits think of her, I wonder..."
"Mynakit, that isn't very fair. You can't just walk over here and scare Gracekit all the time! Don't take advantage of her." The black-necked kitten simpered in annoyance, and looked at the tan kitten.
"Gracekit doesn't mind, do you?" Mynakit's simper grew to a grin as she pulled over the black kitten, paw over her back. Fuzzykit sighed, shaking his blond, curly locks looked for his other sister.
"Wavekit! Do you think she minds being scared all the time?" The tom smirked over at the other as though he had already won this fight.
"No. I don't REALLY care- BAH!" Gracekit squealed in fright.
Wavekit grinned from behind her, and tottered over to sit in between Mynakit, and the tom.
"Whether she minds or not, we can't let this much fun go to waste!"
"Hmmph... Hey, you know what? Only a few more days until I get the name Fuzzypaw." The tom smiled in amazement, only to be brought down with his sister's comment of, "Great! Then you'll sound like an even bigger dork than you already sound like! And when you're a warrior, you'll still sound stupid." The tom rolled his eyes, and tilted his head to Wavekit, "Thanks for killing the moment."
"It's a pleasure! Any time, bro."
"No really thanks."
"Already said you're welcome. Silly little kitty!" The tom's amber eyes glared hotly into her own blue eyes. Giving little sign of his approaching come-back, he tackled the lithe kitten, while batting at her ears. Mynakit, listening to them fight, saw the act of aggression and was inspired.
"YA! Wavekit and me against Gracekit and the dork!" And with that a fight broke, out. Awkward paws lashes out at the other. A certain black kitten ran away screaming from a certain sister. Mynakit gave a curly-haired tail a good bite. All of them were completely oblivious to the fact that Sandkit was sitting there watching them have a go with each other. Wavekit's chase ceased, a she received a long, black leg in the face, allowing Gracekit to run for the den. Why the squealing Fuzzykit was lashing out wildly, Mynakit paused from saying, "You're a tom, be a tom!" and looked at Sandkit as she yowled to get their attention.
"Idiots! Our ceremony is going to start in a few minutes, and you are chasing Gracekit, and ripping Fuzzykit's tail off?"
"To our defense, Fuzzykit is weak, and he started it." Wavekit smirked broadly toward her brother.
"Just- Clean up." Mynakit gasped as Sandkit spoke. We are going to be apprentices? Licking away at her messy pelt, the kitten looked over toward the medicine cat den. Ordinarily, Sagefur would clean up her pelt. But it was an ordinary time. Sighing, the kitten got up, and padded over to where her mom rested. As she waited by the entrance to the den, she heard Sandkit pad up behind her, and place a rather long tail long her back.
"She will make it out, Mynakit."
"Ya, I know. Wanna visit her, too?"
As the two she-kits padded in, they found Sagefur barely awake. The medicine cat glared at the two kittens, but softened realizing who it was. "I'm afraid she won't make it..." Came her unasked question's answer. The kitten held back tears, as she nodded, backed out of the den, only to hear a Clan meeting being called. As Sandkit followed after, she found the black headed kitten hissing. "I don't really care anymore!" Mynakit whipped around to the Siamese kit. Bounding away to hide in the nursery, she heard a crackle among the leaves. Jumping, she hissed, "Wavekit, I'm not in the mood! Leave me be." But to her surprise a much different figure appeared. Pale yellow eyes widened in fear, as the other set brightened.
"Mynakit! You don't really know me, but I'm Shadefoot. You are going to join my Clan, for you are my kit." The tom stated bluntly. The kitten screeched, and attempted to bound away, only to be picked up effortlessly by Shadefoot. It was too much all at once! Cats turned to where the cry came, and the tom said, "I am taking back who SHOULD be in my Clan. I have little fear of you, and I will fight." A yowl of rage broke out, and soon the noise was burning through her ears.
"Quiet!" Came a groggy, weak voice, in which was drowned by the calls of the stressed Clan.
Shadefoot heard, and indeed recognized the voice. "The mother will choose her fate! Silence yourselves, and let her speak."
"Thank you..." Sagefur coughed, as the silence filled the camp. "I won't be here long... I wish Mynakit to go with her father."
"But she will be an apprentice soon! You can't take her away when she has lived here her whole life." Comments much like this broke out.
"Does she even have a say in what happens?" Mynakit drowned them out, and searched for a few certain kittens. In a line, was three siblings, and one adopted sister, sitting in front of the protecting Rosenose. Sniffling, she nodded to the kits. In turn, they nodded. All kits knew what would happen. They knew it might be the last time they saw their beloved friend.
"Just take Mynakit! She is my kitten, and while she still is, I say what happens to her." Did Sagefur really not want her that bad? EarthClan had silenced, and the leader seemed to think it was a matter that the parents should sort out.
"Very well. Take Mynakit to FireClan camp. You are sure that is what you want?" Came the voice of one with power. The silence declared Shadefoot's victory, and the kitten was whisped off.
The upside to this? The she-cat wouldn't even try to find one. It seemed she was rushed right into apprenticeship, mentored to a she-cat by the name of Mountainleaf.
"Alright. Don't let your tail drag on the ground, Mynapaw. It will ruin your kill. If it helps lift you paws- There we go! You will catch that mouse, for sure. Great job! Is this your first time? I'd find that hard to believe..." The curly furred she-cat excited. Mynapaw liked her, she really did. The only problem was herself.
"No..." She mewed in her almost silent voice. "I used to hmmhmhmm..."
"Come again?"
Mynapaw shrugged and shook her head. Her pale yellow gaze followed the final leaf of a tree as it fell. It was rather beautiful, she decided. The mist clung around the gray trees, and whisped into her ever messier fur. A smile twitched at her lip, but just slightly. The deeper into the fog, the bluer and more seemingly mystical the scenery got. Though they seemed faded, the leaves were bright amongst the trees.
"Mynapaw..." Mountainleaf seemed to drone on, as though she'd called her a good many times.
The apprentice perked her ears, them flicked them slightly in embarrassment.
"Sorry." Came a mumble. Her head fell to the ground, and she looked up through her eyes.
"Heh! No problem at all. Uh... just don't get distracted when you are fighting!" She grinned broadly, and layed her tail along Mynapaw's back. She notably stiffed, and chewed her lip.
"Can we go back..?" she mewed quietly.
"Oh... sure. C'mon!" With that, Mountainleaf hauled herself up and padded along. Pausing, she looked back for her apprentice. She couldn't leave her on her own! She was a stranger to these lands. Mynapaw padded up beside her, intentionally trailing behind, only to have Mountainleaf slow her pace to match the younger cat's.
Back at camp the apprentices tried conversing... Only to be rejected by Mynapaw's only too subtle expressions, and whispers. Time after time this happened, and soon they had had enough. Mynapaw would lie in her nest curled up, her paws on her head, claw digging through her black fur. Now, she wasn't so violet to draw blood Why am I so bad at this? Is there ever one thing I say or do right? Why was I given this stupid shyness? And so on and so forth were her thoughts. But the worst of it all for her was the fact that she could never retreat. She could never cry, for she knew if she did, they would see her.
And Mynapaw couldn't hate her father more. He payed her little heed, despite the fact that he had taken everything away. For these reasons, she excited for the day she went to the gathering. Surely then she would see them again. The apprentice had to remind herself that her mother, in fact, wouldn't be seen.
And when she finally got to go, Mynapaw searched the large crowd of familiar cats, none of which were Fuzzypaw, Wavepaw, Gracepaw, or Sandpaw. Then a voice answered her questions.
"Mynakit- Rather Mynapaw, Rosenose and her kits caught what your mother had. They... They didn't make it." The apprentice hadn't looked to see who it was. She guessed Rosenose's mate, Nightbound. Mynapaw simply bolted home, ignoring Mountainleaf's calls.
As moons passed, and Mynapaw was thriving in her training. She wasn't an exceptional student, at least she didn't out shine any other, but she completed her training with ease. And soon she had received her warrior name. It was at this time, that Shadefoot was growing ever weaker. On his dieing day, Mynastep heard,
"Your father wishes to speak with you before he passes on." Once again paying little heed to who spoke, she stuttered self cautiously to the den where he would breathe his last breaths.
"Mynastep... You have grown!" She blinked calmly whilst thinking, you have payed me that amount of attention? Sighing, the daughter stared at her father as he lifted a paw to touch her face. Despite her hate for physical contact, she allowed him to do so.
"Mmm." Came her mew, which was her was of saying 'cut to the chase'.
And indeed he did. "I just wanted to say," his voice rasped through her ear.
"I am sorry for taking away everything you loved and knew..."
She had stared at the tom, for once staring a cat in the eye.
"I forgive you." Mynastep stated in a loud clear voice, and she bent her head down to press her cheek against his own. Though it was awkward, it felt as though she had indeed done the right thing. Satisfied with his daughter's forgiveness, he allowed himself to cease the painful breathing.
Her face buried in his neck, she felt tears seep into his pelt. The she-cat opened her yellow eyes, and soon found that she had fallen asleep. Though his death hurt her, Mynastep felt peace in the fact that all anger toward him was lost... Of course she would constantly have to push the anger away when it did come.
Her shyness has continued to trouble her. Though she isn't always too happy with her life, she has gotten used to the loneliness.
It would be only two months later, and then you have caught up with Mynastep's current time.
